Passenger Car Burns in Baku

On 14 May a Ford Transit with the number plate 10 KL 946 blew up and burnt out in Baku in Sheikh Shamil Street near Baku Soviet metro station at 13:30 local time. The driver of the van, Khayyam Agayev, said that he was bringing 11 cultural workers from the city of Mingachevir of Azerbaijan. According to him, while approaching the metro station, smoke billowed from the van and the passengers got out. Two fire engines were attended to the fire.
