Emin Imamalyiev scored a late goal Wednesday to lead Azerbaijan to a 1-0 win over Finland in a European Championship qualifying match.

Imamaliyev, who came on as a substitute in the 66th minute, scored with a half volley off Murad Aghakishiyev's corner kick in the 83rd.
It was Azerbaijan's first win and gave the team four points. The defeat left Finland, which dominated the game for most of the match, in second place in Group A with 11 points.
