January 8, 2007 - the first workday in Azerbaijan

There will be nine nonworking days in Azerbaijan, MM Social policy permanent commission chairman Hadi Rejebli told APA.
He said that as Sacrifice Feast and New Year fall on December 31, there will be additional nonworking days till December 6, according to the new rules adopted by the Cabinet. December 6-7 fall on Saturday and Sunday, so the first working day will begin on January 8.
