Beckham's stolen jeep turns up in Macedonia
Macedonia has found a jeep it suspects was stolen from David Beckham in Madrid and may sell the car if the former England captain does not claim."We suspect it's Beckham's car," a police source in the Balkan country told Reuters. "We have informed Interpol".
Macedonia's Channel 5 said the luxury BMW X5 was stolen in the Spanish capital where Beckham plays for Real Madrid. It was among five vehicles seized on the Macedonia-Albania border in a raid on a human-smuggling gang a year ago.
The jeep could be sold at public auction if Beckham, down on his luck after being dropped by England and benched by Real, decides not to claim it.
